RECORD STORE DAY is nearly here!

Saturday 13th April will see the 11th Record Store Day UK event, and we’re taking part!

There are over 500 RSD releases this year, and we’ll have a large chunk of them – the full list can be found here: www.recordstoreday.co.uk

A few things to you need to know:

• We will be open in both shops from 9am, with Warminster open ’til 5pm, and Frome about 8pm. Frome will also be open Sunday 14th April.

• Bags; we no longer have plastic bags, please bring your own bag. For those without reusable bags, we have tote bags available to purchase, if you need one.

• Live music; we have local singer/songwriter Henry Wacey performing live in our Warminster shop at 2pm (info here: http://tiny.cc/HenryWacy), and Americana singer/songwriter Ethan Johns playing live at our Frome shop at 7pm (info here: http://tiny.cc/EthanJohns)

• We have a DJ set from Pete of Ishmael Ensemble in our Frome store (info here: http://tiny.cc/Ishmael), Pete will be spinning some tunes, and selling advance copies of the forthcoming Ishmael Ensemble album.

• Finally, as per RSD rules, all releases will be sold on a first come, first served basis, with each title limited to one per person. These are rules set by the organisers, to which we must adhere.

We’re very much looking forward to the buzz of RSD, and hope you all get the goodies you’re after!

See you on Saturday!
